Ending your garage license

Termination Details:


Please note: To end your garage licence you must give one week's notice.

Tenant's Obligations:
  1. Remove all personal belongings, trash, and debris from the garage premises.
  2. Return any keys or padlock provided by the Council.
  3. Restore the garage to its original condition, considering normal wear and tear.
  4. Settle any outstanding payments or fees owed to the Council. 


Inspection and Payments:


  1. Inspection: A representative from the Council will conduct a final inspection of the garage within 10 days after the termination date to assess its condition.
  2. Payments: We will cancel your direct debit from the date your keys are returned to us.

If the garage is found to be in good condition and all obligations are fulfilled, the Council will refund any credit on your account within 28 days from the inspection date.


Any deductions for damages or outstanding fees will be clearly communicated to the Tenant in writing.

By submitting this form, the Council and the Tenant acknowledge and agree to the termination of the garage license according to the terms and conditions outlined in this Form.
